Blogging Guidelines Our classroom blog has been set up for us to share our learning and our experiences with others. We want our family and friends to enjoy what we are doing in class. To do this we need to understand how to use the internet in a safe and secure way.
The following guidelines are to be followed to ensure our safety in an online world.
•Students must use their first names only or first name and initial of last name e.g "John" or "Sarah P" •Parents and other family members must identify themselves as "John's mum" or "Sarah's aunty" etc •Never share your personal information on the blog (surname, address, phone number etc) or that of you family or friends. •Tell Mum or Dad when you are going to look at our blog at home. They will love to look at it with you.
We would really love you to comment on our posts. Maybe you would like to comment on our learning, ask us a question or even add some extra information to our post. It is very easy to do and then we will have a chance to write back to you. All you have to do is open a Google account and log in. Then just click on "comments" at the bottom of the post and write your comment. Keep an eye open for our reply.
If you would like to receive an email notification each time we add a post to the blog, just type your email address into the widget at the top of the right-hand column. This will ensure you keep up to date with all our news and views.
